Maintenance
All Brooklyn Fine Design lamps arrive with LED bulbs pre-installed and ready for use.
Should your LED bulb have loosened in transit or burn out (in approximately 30 years), to change or tighten bulb:
-
Unplug lamp from power source.
-
Using a 5/64" Allen key wrench remove screws from top. Place them top side down on a soft cloth. Take care when loosening the last screw to grip the top so it stays in place and doesn't fall off, damaging itself, the lamp or others.
-
Carefully set top aside, bottom face down on a soft cloth.
-
Slide glass element straight up and out of the lamp structure. Place safely aside. If any marks from an upright get on shade, wipe with a damp soft cloth followed by a dry soft cloth. Windex is okay on shade and not okay on metal.
-
Remove bulb by twisting counterclockwise and replace bulb with a T-8 E 12 (Candelabra Base) LED 1.9 Watt bulb. Do not over tighten.
-
Carefully replace shade and top
